2My name is Liz, and I am a qualified and experienced copy-editor and proofreader, working with self-published writers.

If you’re visiting The Error Eliminator website, it’s likely that you’re coming to the end of a writing project.  You will have spent many hours writing, reviewing and rewriting, and your manuscript has probably been to beta readers and a development/content editor. But before you publish, you need someone with a fresh pair of eyes to go through your manuscript with a fine-tooth comb, to locate and remove any remaining errors.

After everything you’ve put into your writing, you owe it to yourself and your readers to engage the services of a knowledgeable professional to undertake this task. That’s where I can assist.

The ‘Error Elimination’ services I offer are:

An in-depth technical examination of your manuscript, generally after it has been to a content/developmental editor; copy-editing is the final editing stage. Working with a competent copy-editor is a crucial step in ensuring your work is at its best when you publish.

A detailed examination of your manuscript—after it has been through the various editing stages. Proofreading is usually the final part of the writing process, and it focuses on correcting the small technical errors that your editors won’t have checked for because their job is to concentrate on the ‘big picture’ stuff. Proofreading is an essential step if you want to ensure your work is polished to perfection.

Final Read-Through (Typo Check)
An ‘absolute final read-through’ of your formatted book on a Kindle before you publish, to catch those frustrating last few errors and typos that somehow always seem to make it through the editing and proofreading stages. This service is not a replacement for copy-editing or even proofreading; it’s an additional check to give you the confidence you’ve taken every step possible to ensure that when it’s published, your book is as ‘error-free’ as it can be!

To help you decide whether I’m the right person for the job, check out the details of my ‘Error Elimination’ services; visit my About Me page to find out more about my experience and background, and my Testimonial page to read what some of the writers I work with say about me.

If you have any questions or are interested in working with me, please get in touch. You can use my Contact page or email me: theerroreliminator@gmail.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.
